This dispersible tablet is a combination of Cefixime, a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic, and Lactic Acid Bacillus, a probiotic that helps maintain gut flora balance.
Cefixime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial infections. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, thereby stopping the growth of bacteria.
Lactic Acid Bacillus is a probiotic that helps restore and maintain normal intestinal flora, especially during and after antibiotic therapy, reducing the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea and gastrointestinal disturbances.
Indications:
Respiratory tract infections (e.g., pharyngitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis)
Urinary tract infections
Ear infections (otitis media)
Typhoid fever
Skin and soft tissue infections
Diarrhea associated with antibiotic use
Dosage:
As directed by the physician. The dispersible tablet should be dissolved in a small amount of water before administration, or chewed/swallowed as per doctor’s advice.
Precautions:
Use with caution in patients with renal impairment.
Complete the full course of antibiotics even if symptoms improve.
