His tablet combines Amoxycillin, a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic, with Clavulanic Acid, a β-lactamase inhibitor, to enhance its antibacterial efficacy. Amoxycillin is a semi-synthetic penicillin that works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to cell lysis and death. It is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a β-lactamase inhibitor that protects Amoxycillin from enzymatic degradation by β-lactamase-producing bacteria, thereby extending its antibacterial spectrum. Together, this combination is effective against β-lactamase-producing resistant bacterial strains that are not responsive to Amoxycillin alone.   Dosage: As prescribed by the physician. (Tablet should be taken preferably at the start of a meal to improve absorption and reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.) Precautions: Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment. Complete the full course of treatment to prevent antibiotic resistance. May cause gastrointestinal disturbances like nausea, diarrhea, or abdominal pain. Hypersensitivity reactions (e.g., rash, anaphylaxis) may occur in penicillin-allergic patients. Store in a cool, dry place and protect from light.
